When I make it I always leave out the rice wine because I never have it at home, but it tastes just about as good! In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, oil, ginger, garlic and pepper flakes; pour over ribs. Remove meat to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan. Place the cooked ribs in a large ziplock bag and pour on the marinade.
